Spirituality Sunday Series

Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

In continuation of this Spirituality Sunday Series, I wanted to share some quotes that really resonated with me this week from my daily devotional. I hope you find some value in these as well!

Quotes:

"I am your strength and shield. I am with you and will watch you wherever you go".
"Keep your mind on the present journey, enjoying My presence. Walk by faith, not by sight, trusting Me to open up the way before you".
"I am always present in your spirit. Seek My face, speak to Me, and I will light up your mind".
"You face nothing alone-nothing! When you feel anxious, know that you are focusing on the visible world and leaving Me out of the picture...Fix your eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. Verbalize your trust in Me. I will get you safely through this day and all your days".
"Bring Me your weakness and receive My peace...Do not wear yourself out with analyzing and planning. The best way to get through this day is step by step with Me".
"You will never run out of things to worry about, but you can choose to trust Me no matter what. I am an ever present help in trouble".
"Come to Me and rest. I am all around you to bless and restore. Light, life, joy, and peace flow freely through this gift".

Takeaway:

My key takeaway from these quotes this week is: We are NEVER alone! He is always with us no matter where we are, and all we have to do is trust in Him. If we do this, He will give us strength and peace, guide us in the right direction, and keep us safe.

Have you ever felt alone?...I'm sure most of us can relate to feeling alone at some point or another. Whether it's isolation from the pandemic, loss of loved ones, working from home, not having the support you need in your work or home life, living away from your family and friends, being single or experiencing troubles in your marriage, or even alone with your worries, anxious thoughts, or depressed feelings. If you are feeling alone, anxious, or maybe even lost, this is a friendly reminder that He is always there to give you the strength and guidance you need to get through those tough days.

I'm curious to know, what is your biggest takeaway from these quotes? Please feel free to comment here, message me directly, or even share these quotes and your thoughts with your family and friends.

Weekly Spirituality Activity:

Consider writing down any of these quotes that resonate with you, and then put them in a place where you can see them as a reminder for those more challenging or lonely days. It could be in your favorite journal, on a sticky note on your mirror, work desk, or fridge, etc.

Also, consider reflecting on who might be feeling lonely this week. It could be a grandparent, a friend going through a tough time, or even someone you see walking alone in the neighborhood. Reach out to them to see how they are doing, or even give a friendly wave and ask "How are you?". Small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference, and can make others feel less lonely and more loved.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a healthy and happy week!
