Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
Today I wanted to change directions from my typical posts and share a variety of ways to nurture spiritual health. Spirituality is your sense of purpose, and it gives you value in your life. To enhance our spiritual wellness, it encompasses us searching for a deeper meaning in our lives. The more we nurture our spirituality, the more likely we will feel connected to not only a higher power, but to ourselves and others around us. This connection can support us with making wiser choices, and encourage us to take more morally sound action steps that align with our values. Having a purpose and strong values to live by can create a healthier mind, body, and spirit, and in return support us with being the best version of ourselves. Although spirituality and religion are linked, they are not the same contrary to many people's beliefs. Religion is a specific system of worship and faith that involves spirituality, however you can still be spiritual without being a part of a specific religion. I wanted to share this, because whether or not you are a part of a religion, there are various ways to nurture your spiritual health. Now let's discuss some of these ways.
