Wellness Wednesday Challenge

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week!


Are you looking to nurture your physical, mental, and spiritual health today?...Then join me in this "Wellness Wednesday Challenge"! Just write down these items below and mark them off once you complete them.


Wellness Wednesday Challenge Steps:


  • Move your body for at least 20 minutes today. Do you have a busy schedule?...Then don't overcomplicate it! This can be as easy as going on a two 10 minutes walks today.


  • Have a fruit or veggie and a glass of water with each meal. Not used to eating a fruit and veggie with each meal?...Don't sweat it! It could be as easy as topping your yogurt with some berries, adding some fruit to your smoothie or protein shake, topping your sandwich or burger with lettuce and tomato, adding veggies to your pizza or pasta, etc.


  • Do something that makes you smile. Even doing something for just a minute that you enjoy can make a difference on your mindset!


  • Take some deep breaths. This can take under a minute if it needs to, however it can make a world of difference on your stress, energy, and productivity levels for the day.


  • Practice gratitude. Journal at least three things you are grateful for today. This will help you to look at the glass half full versus half empty despite the circumstances.


  • Do a random act of kindness. It doesn't have to be anything big or time consuming. Affirm a colleague, hold the door for someone, check in on someone who needs it, tell a family member or friend you are grateful for them, get your spouse flowers or a coffee, do a chore that is not assigned to you, etc.


  • Get some fresh air and appreciate nature. Is it bad weather where you are today?...No big deal! Simply crack the window to get some fresh air, and look outside to see the beauty of nature. It's going to feel so good to get a screen break!
