Birthday Cake Smoothie

I made this delicious smoothie this morning for my birthday, but I would highly recommend it whether it's your birthday or not! It tastes like cake batter, but it makes for a nutritious and well balanced breakfast. Give this recipe a try and eat cake for breakfast because every day is worth celebrating!


Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 Medjool date

  • 1 scoop vanilla plant based protein powder

  • 1/4 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2-3 ice cubes

  • 1 tsp cocoa nibs (optional topping)

  • 1 tsp sprinkles (optional)


Instructions:

  • Blend fruit, protein powder, oats, almond milk, and ice

  • Top with cocoa nibs if you are a chocolate icing lover like me, or top with sprinkles if you are a funfetti fan

  • Enjoy!
