Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps

Here is one of my go to Asian recipes. It has so much flavor; it's packed with nutrients; and is very simple to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!


Ingredients:


Produce:

  • Romaine lettuce cups

  • Shredded Carrots

  • Cabbage

  • Peppers

  • Mushrooms

  • Cilantro

  • Tofu

Oil; sauces; seasonings:

  • Sesame or olive oil

  • Braggs Aminos

  • Rice vinegar

  • Sriracha

  • Peanut butter

  • Garlic powder

  • Turmeric powder


Instructions:


Stir Fry:

  • Finely chop tofu and veggies

  • Drizzle oil on pan and put on stove for medium to high heat

  • Add veggies; vinegar; braggs aminos; garlic powder; and turmeric

  • Cook on medium to high heat until sizzling

  • Turn heat off and let it sit for a few minutes to simmer


Peanut sauce:

  • Add 1 TBSP peanut butter; 1 TBSP rice vinegar; 1 TSP braggs aminos; and 1 TSP sriracha in a small container

  • Mix ingredients

  • Add a little water as needed to make it more of a sauce like consistency


Final Product:

  • Place stir fry veggies and tofu on romaine lettuce

  • Drizzle peanut sauce

  • Top with cilantro

  • ENJOY!
