Here is a delicious, simple, and nutritious brussels sprout recipe. With the pecans and cranberries addition it makes for the perfect healthy Christmas side dish. I hope you enjoy it and have a Happy Holiday!
Ingredients:
· 1 LB brussels sprouts (trim end and cut in half)
· 1 TBSP Olive Oil
· 1 TBSP Honey
· 2 TSP Sriracha
· ¼ TSP Garlic Powder
· Red Pepper to taste
· Black Pepper to taste
· Sea Salt to taste
· Pecans (optional)
· Dried Cranberries (optional)
Instructions:
· Preheat oven to 400 degrees
· Put all ingredients (except the cranberries and pecans) in a bowl and mix
· Place brussels sprouts on a non-stick baking sheet
· Roast brussels sprouts in the oven for 15 minutes
· While brussels sprouts are cooking: put cranberries in a bowl with warm water to rehydrate
· Toss brussels sprouts after 15 minutes and cook for another 10 minutes
· Take brussels sprouts out of the oven and place them in a bowl
· Add cranberries and pecans to the bowl and toss
· Put on a fun Holiday plate or bowl and ENJOY!
